A Blessing for Jace

Your baby blessing was on October 12, 2014. It was such a special day, one that I had looked forward to for a very long time. So many people came to show their love and support for our family. Many people from all 4 extended families were there, as well as a lot of our very closest friends. It was a beautiful, but chilly, fall day. We had a soup bar afterward at our house and everyone enjoyed visiting and holding you. You were such a good baby all day. Dad gave you a very beautiful blessing and I felt the spirit strongly.

You were given the name of Jace Kendall Lythgoe, a strong name that represents both of your parents and their families. We hope you will always honor your name and the people who have come before you.

You were blessed to feel the love of each member of your family.

To be a light in this darkening world.

To carry out your earthly responsibilities in tune with the Holy Ghost 

and with the guidance of Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

To be healthy and strong in both body and spirit.

To seek learning.

To marry and have your own eternal family.

To be a light and a strength to those around you.

To keep your testimony burning brightly and to bring others to Jesus Christ.

We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what incredible things you will do to contribute to this world. We know Heavenly Father has endless blessings in store for you.
